Trip Itinerary:
Day 1
August 7 – Airport Arrival – Port Angeles – Quileute Tribal Nation
Your adventure begins at SeaTac Airport (Seattle) where our guide will greet guests for our journey to the Olympic Peninsula. Plan to arrive by 12:00 noon as we will be departing at 1:00pm.
Before
arriving at the Quileute Oceanside Resort, we’ll stop by Port Angeles (where any
series shopping is done by Forks teens) and enjoy an early dinner at Bella
Italia, the book location where Edward and Bella have their first heart-felt
conversation.
Fan Trips.Travel has received special permission from the Quileute Tribal Council to partner with them in creating this special Twilight adventure.
Accommodations : Quileute
Oceanside Resort – located right on the beach in the tribal village of La Push.
Thee resort offers Washington’s most pristine coastal destination.
Meals Included : Dinner
Day 2
August 8 – La Push Beach – Hoh Rainforest – Quileute Salmon Bake
After breakfast this morning,
grab your tennis shoes
and
a raincoat as we’ll be heading to the Hoh Rainforest. Mild winters, cool summers
and up to 12 feet of annual precipitation produce the giant conifers that
dominate this rain forest, one of the most spectacular examples of temperate
rain forest in the world. This easy trail leads us to the Hall of Mosses, the
most atmospheric location in the rainforest where any vampire would feel right
at home.
Back at the Quileute Oceanside Resort we’ll break up into smaller groups for an exploration of First Beach with our Quileute guides. Enjoy an easy walk along unspoiled Pacific beaches to ancient national parklands.
Late afternoon is a time to relax at the resort or gather with friends. Other activities you can enjoy in your free time include kayaking, biking, fishing, surfing and whale watching.
We’ve planned a special dinner tonight – a traditional Salmon Bake just like Jacob, Billy, Sam and all their friends would share with their families and friends. This promises to be an evening to remember.
Accommodations : Quileute
Oceanside Resort
Meals Included : Breakfast, Dinner
Day 3
August 9 – Forks – Quileute Bonfire and Stories
Today is Forks day! We’ll head off after breakfast to Forks, WA where Stephenie Meyer’s story takes place. This small and charming town was chosen as the Cullen’s home as it receives the most rainfall of any city in the United States. You’ll enjoy private guided tours of Forks locations which are reminiscent of fictional sites mentioned in the Twilight Series and have plenty of time to explore on your own. Grab those photos of the town sign, enjoy lunch on Main Street, shop for Twilight merchandise at the Outfitters and other stores in town. Have fun!
On our last night with our Quileute hosts, we’ll gather round a bonfire while an elder shares the ancient legends of the Quileute people. It was during one evening just like this when Bella heard the tales of the wolf legends for the first time from Billy and other members of the tribe on the beach at La Push.
Accommodations : Quileute
Oceanside Resort
Meals Included : Breakfast, Dinner
Day 4
August 10 - Journey to Portland – Portland Film Locations – Pub Dinner
Our
journey from the Olympic Peninsula to
Portland, Oregon, where the majority of
Twilight filming took place, begins right after breakfast. A lunch stop is
planned along the way.
After settling into your hotel you’ll be treated to a whirlwind tour of film locations in the Portland, Oregon area. Plenty of time for photos of these accessible film locations. There will also be opportunities to stop and purchase a treat at some of the locations along the way.
We’ll end our day with dinner at a fun and casual pub in downtown Portland.
Accommodations : Built in 1912, the historic 4-star Multnomah Hotel evokes an earlier time of romance and sophistication; you can just imagine Edward Cullen feeling very much at home here! With extensive and comfy public areas, you’ll find plenty of space to gather with friends and discuss everything about Twilight.
As an Embassy Suites property,
your rooms are generously-sized with a separate sleeping and living area. Join
your friends for late-night chats in the privacy of your room for more intimate
discussions.

Day 5
August 11 – Fashionista Contest at
Macy’s – Columbia River Gorge - Multnomah Falls – Pajama Party
This morning, you’ll get exclusive access to all 4 floors of Macy’s Department store to play our Fashionista Contest! We’ve arrange to have special access before opening hours at Macy’s. Twilight Fan Trip teams will complete to find the perfect ensemble for a Twilight character to wear to the prom! Play dress up with 4 floors of amazing outfits and accessories to choose from! Prizes will be awarded.
Late morning we’ll head off to Multnomah Falls where we’ll enjoy authentic northwestern cuisine for lunch, served in a rustic, romantic setting.
Then get ready for a lovely
afternoon out in the
Columbia River Gorge. We have organized a
fantastic day of easy walking into the Gorge and visiting film locations with a
guide who assisted with pre-shoot organizing of the Twilight movie. While
walking in “Edward’s footsteps”, our guide will share stories of the difficult
conditions the crew had to undergo when filming in ice, snow and rain! The
Columbia Gorge is a spectacular river canyon 85 miles long and up to 4,000 feet
deep. This wild and beautiful place has also served as a human corridor for tens
of thousands of years, and was visited by Lewis and Clark and traversed by
thousands of Oregon Trail pioneers.
How fortunate we are that Summit Entertainment chose to film in this
breathtaking location!
Spend the day seeing the trees, the cliffs, and the water from Edward’s eyes. Don’t forget to bring your cameras for some of the most amazing photos you’ll ever take! After crossing the river back to the Oregon side, we’ll have a rest at the cozy Multnomah Falls Lodge built in 1925. Plummeting 620 feet from its origins on Larch Mountain, Multnomah Falls, another Twilight film location on your tour, is the second highest year-round waterfall in the nation. Enjoy a short walk with a naturalist who assisted with pre-shoot organizing of the movie.
Enjoy dinner on your own in beautiful downtown Portland.
After dinner, snuggle down in the
fireplace room while award-winning Native
American storyteller,
Antoinette Botsford, weaves glorious tales of
wolf children, engages us in interactive activities and creates a truly magical
evening for all of us Twilight fans! A northwest native with family ties to
indigenous North American and Celtic cultures,
Antoinette Botsford delights in stories that
stretch our way of seeing things. Actress, teacher, and journalist, and for the
last twenty years as a storyteller, she reaches into her own life journeys to
spin tales of “traditional and true” that will expand your sense of reality and
possibility. Besides sharing some of her juicy stock of stories, she will lead a
special hands-on project that will help you always to remember Twilight and its
imprint in your own life.
Accommodations : Multnomah Hotel
Meals Included : Breakfast, Lunch, Hotel Reception
Day 6
August 12 – St. Helens – Prom Party
Enjoy
a hearty breakfast before our excursion to
St. Helens, Oregon, an inviting small town near
the riverfront where Summit Entertainment chose to film a number of scenes for
Twilight. The Olde Towne portion of St. Helens features a Nationally Registered
Historic District which includes residences and civic buildings dating back
nearly a century.
After a guided walking tour of
downtown St Helens and free time for photos and shopping, another exclusive
opportunity awaits. We have very special permission to visit the privately owned
location used as the “Bloated Toad” - the restaurant in the movie where Edward
and Bella have their first heart-felt conversation. During this extraordinary
visit you will have a unique opportunity to hear a film location scout describe
just how film locations are chosen. A fascinating discussion you don’t want to
miss!
We’ll also be enjoying lunch today at the “Bloated Toad”. Feel free to chat with the owner and get a first-person perspective of what it is like to have your property transformed for Hollywood.
The afternoon is yours to get ready for the Prom Party at the View Point Inn!
Relive the magic and romance of Prom Night at our special Prom Party at the romantic View Point Inn, where Bella and Edward shared a few moments on the verandah after the prom.
The
View Point Inn will be recreating the evening
just as it was for Edward and Bella - using the decorations used in the film.
Their renowned chef will be prepare an amazing meal for you. Plus, there will be
plenty of music and dancing under the stars. Relax, walk about the property and
take plenty of photos and enjoy! After our special evening, we’ll return to
Portland.
